In one of the cases, several men stole a car from a Jaguar dealership.
Fairfax County Police received the first report of a break-in at the Jaguar Tysons Corner, 1592 Spring Hill Road. A group of burglars broke in between 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 and 6:30 a.m. on Friday, April 27 and stole stole car keys. One vehicle was missing from the parking lot. Police did not provide a description of the missing car.
Auto theft from car dealerships are an all too common occurrence but there are ways to deter theft and vandalism on your car lot and dealership and one of them is video surveillance monitoring.
Hundreds of thousands of stolen U.S. vehicles are shipped overseas or driven across U.S. borders each year. Car dealership companies are also defrauded by car thieves into renting, selling, financing, or leasing them cars with fake identification, checks, and credit cards. This is a common practice in areas near borders which tracking devices do nothing because jurisdiction cannot be applied into a foreign country to recover a lost vehicle.
Auto-Focus Security observes and records activities day and night and surveillance video is an important tool to aid in the investigation of everything from employee theft and vandalism to slip and falls and work place injuries or accidents.
