Burglars struck another Anchorage car dealership early Wednesday morning, bringing the number of recent burglaries to seven during the past few weeks, based on information from police and car dealerships.
The incident occurred at Kendall Toyota on Old Seward Highway and was reported to police at 1:46 a.m. Company officials say burglars managed to get into the building, pried open a security gate, attempted to open a safe, and then stole 20 sets of keys to the dealership’s new cars. The burglars fled when they were spotted by a security guard.
